Biography:
Seabastion Toast is originally from Melbourne, now living and working in Northern NSW. She completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts in 2000 including a six month exchange to the Pratt Art Institute in New York.
Her work has garnered much attention over the past couple of years particularly after winning the 2014 D'arcy Doyle Landscape Prize, the 2011 Gainsborough Greens Award, the 2012 Marymount Painting Prize and achieving finalist positions in many other prominent awards including the 2012 Doug Moran Portrait Prize.
