Drawing the Human Head:
Free lesson and artist talk

In this step by step demonstration we will be using charcoal to accurately simplify the main shadow shapes used in developing a portrait.
The workshop will consist of an artist talk and step by step demonstration. The entire workshop last for approximately 60 mins

Can I ask questions during the workshop?
Yes! please do! you can use the chat functions to ask questions and there will be a dedicated question and answer section at the end.
Do I need any special equipment to participate in the workshop?
You just need a computer/tablet or smart phone to participate.

Sure! After a brief introduction to my work I will be taking you step by step through using shadow shapes to create a likeness.

Only if you want to! you do not need to have a camera activated to participate, so we won't even know if you are still in your P.J.s :)

- download the ZOOM app to your device ahead of time and then follow the link in the email.

- willow charcoal
- putty rubber
- small soft acrylic paintbrush (clean)
